The Woodlands, TX
Let me preface this with saying, this hotel was not budget friendly. We were lucky enough to stay here for Nathan’s business trip for 2 nights in August 2019. The location is impeccable. It is surrounded by a beautiful lake/pond and the area has its own trolley system. Many of the surrounding stores and restaurants were also on the higher end so we wouldn’t stay here if it was us on our own. The hotel is immaculate and pristine. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were very modern and clean. They were smaller than I had hoped but it was nice that we had a separate bedroom from the living area. Breakfast was the best I have ever seen in a hotel before. A huge, freshly made spread was put out every morning as well as a made to order station that included so many kinds of breakfast foods. The evening social was smaller, but it did come with 2 free drinks and a nice little spread as well. The staff were polite, but I wouldn’t use the word friendly. The pool was great and again on the rooftop. It had a resort style atmosphere and looked like it was never used.
